Live Remote Training and Online Support in Physical Interventions

Live and Remote Training or Support in Physical Interventions

With the issues that some of our clients are facing in keeping their workplaces safe in the face of conflict, aggression and violence, Dynamis has responded by accelerating our ability to provide Live remote support.

Building on our experience of establishing a successful online training platform in 2014, on which we have delivered training for more than 3,000 people, our team has been busy planning the delivery of remote training in order that clients who need to re-certify their staff, or deal with a new or increased risk in their workplace, can access advice even when our trainers can not travel to their place of work.

Our online training platform delivers information, guidance and decision-making skills through the use of short video presentations coupled with knowledge-check questions, all of which are easy to present to managers afterwards in the form of a staff progress and achievement report.  Feedback through the years has been remarkably positive, with many learners feeling surprised at the quality of our online learning platform and the engaging nature of the learning on it.

While Live Remote or Online training is not a replacement for in-person training and particularly no match for our unique SCENA approach which is a scenario-driven way to deliver in-person training, it does offer you a bridge to the skills you want your teams to develop, especially during a time when it is not possible to be together in-person because of the ‘lockdown’ restrictions.

Our challenge was to bring the same engaging training to your people using the popular meeting technologies such as Zoom, Skype and Google Meet and we think we have cracked it!   Or at least, we have made our best steps towards this, including upgrading our facilities in order to give our clients the quality experience they expect from Dynamis, which includes:

  • full 1080p HD webcam and quality audio setup
  • studio backdrop and lighting to ensure the best visibility of the live instructor
  • large-format video conferencing screen for better instructor feedback to participants
  • state-of-the-art demonstrator equipment for showing tactic details

Just today we secured our first booking for up to 50 staff to go through our refresher programme for a blended online / live-remote training programme which is very exciting – we will post more updates about it as we roll it out!
